I can't believe it is already December 15th! It was a year ago when I came up with the concept of metroMAMA, after 6 months of development, We launched metroMAMA on June 4, 2007. Since then, so much has happened. Our stats are great, we have over 1,000 people on our mailing list and over 12,000 visitors a month. We hope to reach even more people in 2008! Look for some exciting new things and some changes in the New Year. - First Annual metroMAMA Kids' Expo: We will bring the website live with our first annual metroMAMA Kids' Expo on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 722 Plantation Street in Worcester. - Message Boards: We are bringing back the message boards. They will be private, so you will be able to talk to other moms without the rest of the non-subscribed world spying on you!
- "Safety Girls": Jill Starishevsky, a nine-year veteran of a District Attorney’s Office in New York City who works in the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Bureau and the founder of HowsMyNanny.com, is going to be writing a column called "Safety Girls" giving us moms some great pointers on how to keep our kids safe.
I would also like to thank everyone for your kind words and gifts after the birth of my third child (and first son!) George Christos. He is almost 2 months old now and we are all doing great! I am a mom just like all of you, juggling kids, activities, my husband, family and housework! I started this website because I needed it, I hope it helps you as well.
